I'm curious to hear from those who made the leap to leave their old lives behind and start anew. What was the breaking point that pushed you to make such a bold decision? Once you took that plunge, do you feel it was a worthwhile choice?

Honestly, the tipping point for me was a mental breakdown. I was carrying so much stress and frustration that I just couldn't take it anymore. I knew I had to break free and start fresh, so I let go of everything that was weighing me down.
For me, it was the overwhelming frustration of working in web development. I felt like I was doing all the heavy lifting while my teammates just sat back. It came to a point where I realized I was pouring so much effort into projects that wouldn't even get used, and that just drained my enthusiasm. I decided to walk away and find something more meaningful.
After losing my job of 14 years, I took it as a sign to shake things up. I moved back to my hometown where things are cheaper, and I jumped headfirst into web development. It’s been over two and a half years now, and I can honestly say it’s been a worthwhile journey!
