Hey everyone! I'm currently in my first year of a B.Tech program and I'm really interested in pursuing a career in cybersecurity, particularly focusing on Android development. I'm looking for advice on which programming language would be most beneficial for me to learn that aligns with my goals.

Honestly, it doesn't matter too much which language you start with. The key is to get comfortable with programming concepts, and you can do that in just about any language.
Python is a great option as well! It's versatile and widely used in cybersecurity for scripting and automation tasks.
For Android development, you should definitely check out Java or Kotlin. They are the primary languages used for creating Android apps. If you're also looking into the cybersecurity side of things, gaining knowledge in C, C++, or Python can be really helpful.
