I'm putting together a gaming PC with a Montech XR Black case, Ryzen 7 7700, B650 Eagle motherboard, DeepCool AG500 cooler, 16GB of DDR5-6000 CL30 memory, a Kingston NV3 500GB SSD, and a GeForce RTX 4070. I want a reliable power supply without overspending on unnecessary capacity. Would a 750W unit be enough, and do I need to add any extra case fans?

The case’s included fans should be sufficient for this hardware, so I wouldn’t add more unless temperatures or noise become a problem. An 850W Montech Century II would be a solid choice, but a good-quality 750W PSU should also be enough for a Ryzen 7 7700 and RTX 4070 system.

So 750W should be fine as long as it’s a reliable model, rather than a cheap unbranded unit?
