What should I buy for my $5500 PC setup?

I'm looking to put together a gaming PC with a budget of $5500. I don't have much knowledge about PC building or how parts fit together, but I definitely want a GeForce GTX 5090. Should I consider building my own PC or just go for a prebuilt option? I'm worried about what could go wrong during the build, especially things like static damage or incorrect wiring that could break components like the motherboard or graphics card. Also, is a liquid cooling system too complicated for a beginner? Thanks for any advice!

Honestly, if you're new to building PCs, just buy a prebuilt one! You're exactly the type of person who would benefit from thisโ€”since you know what GPU you want and you have the budget, a prebuilt will save you a lot of hassle. Plus, you can get a warranty for the whole system, and at this price, they should take care of all the BIOS and drivers for you before shipping it out.

If you're feeling adventurous, you could watch some YouTube tutorials and see if building one feels right for you. If thereโ€™s a Microcenter nearby, check out their deals; sometimes DIY can be cheaper. Keep in mind that assembly can come with risksโ€”like damaging parts during shipping or mishandling components. Just make sure to handle everything carefully! As for liquid cooling, donโ€™t sweat it; AIO coolers are pretty straightforwardโ€”just follow guides for your specific model.
