I accidentally dropped my motherboard but managed to catch it before it hit the ground too hard. As a beginner, I'm not really sure what to look for to check for any damage. I looked for any visible issues but didn't see anything unusual. I hope I won't have to replace it! I don't have a screen set up yet, so I can only finish building the PC and power it on. Everything seems fine so far, and the debug light is green, indicating 'no OS' as expected. Does this mean the motherboard is likely still functional, or should I be worried about potential damage?

Look for any bent pins or cracks on the motherboard surface. If everything seems okay visually and it powers on, that’s a great start! Just test it thoroughly once you're set up.
It's tough to say without seeing it, but if the debug light is green and the system powers up, that's a good sign! Just keep an eye out for any strange behavior once you get a display connected. If you don’t see any physical damage and everything is booting up fine, you might be in the clear.
