I'm feeling really anxious because I recently got a virus on my computer while playing Sims 4. I took it to a computer store for help, and they said I did everything right by using Malwarebytes, which quarantined 7 files. However, it turns out I discovered around 65,000 files that were involved, and while some are quarantined, I can't seem to delete them no matter what I try, including safe mode. It felt really violating since it hacked into my Discord and Reddit accounts. Luckily, everything seems mostly fine now, but I'm still really stressed. Any advice or tips on how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated!

It might feel overwhelming, but it’s actually a pretty common issue. Just remember to breathe! It’s not the end of the world. Keep an eye out for any weird behavior on your accounts, just in case you've got lingering issues.
You could just build a new PC, it’s easier than you think! But seriously, don’t stress too much—it happens to the best of us. Just make sure to take precautions moving forward!
Consider doing a clean install of Windows. It's a solid way to make sure the virus is completely wiped out, and I can help guide you through it if you need. Just remember to back up your important files first! It can be a bit of work but is often the best approach for nasty viruses.
