I've decided to try Linux by installing Bazzite on its own drive alongside my existing operating system. My hardware includes an AMD Radeon 9070 and a Ryzen 5 7600. Are there any important post-installation steps, updates, settings, or recommended tools I should take care of? I'm also still getting used to Dolphin, since its file management workflow feels quite different from what I'm familiar with.

You probably don’t need a long checklist. Update the system, install the applications you need through the recommended app store or Flatpak, and spend some time checking that your graphics, audio, networking, and game controllers work correctly. Bazzite handles a lot of the gaming-related setup for you, so it’s best to avoid changing low-level settings unless you have a specific problem.
Dolphin can feel unusual at first, but it becomes easier once you learn its layout. The left sidebar contains common locations, while tabs and split views can make moving files around much quicker. Right-clicking files exposes most of the useful actions, and you can customize the toolbar and shortcuts if the default arrangement doesn’t suit you.
Start by running the available system updates and rebooting if Bazzite asks you to. Since Bazzite is based on Fedora’s atomic model, most of the core system is managed as an immutable image, so you generally shouldn’t treat it like a traditional Linux install where you constantly modify system packages. For everyday use, it should feel fairly familiar once you get used to the desktop environment.
