I just had a little accident where I spilled water on my membrane keyboard while I was drinking. After the spill, I unplugged it, cleaned it up with tissues, and turned it upside down to let it dry in my closet. Is there anything else I should do, or will it be fine?

Definitely let it dry for at least 24 hours. Some folks even recommend waiting up to 48 hours just to be safe. Water usually doesn’t fry electronics as long as there's no power running through it.
If it's an external keyboard, just be patient! After a day, you should know if it's working or not. And don't stress too much—it happens! Just remember not to blow-dry it or use heat, that can damage it further. A box fan can help speed up the drying process though!

Got it! I'll keep it unplugged and let it dry naturally. Thanks!
