What Should I Upgrade First for 2K Gaming on My Old PC?

I'm considering upgrading my old PC instead of keeping a newly bought setup. My current rig has a Ryzen 2600 processor, an ASUS Prime B450 motherboard, a GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and two 480GB SATA SSDs, powered by a 650W PSU. I'm looking to improve it enough to play future AAA games at 2K resolution. What components should I prioritize for an upgrade?

Are you sure you want to downgrade? The new build you mentioned, with a 7800X3D and an RTX 5070, is perfect for 1440p gaming!

I get that, but the old PC is at my family house, and I don’t have much free time during the weekdays. It doesn't really make sense to have a rig I can't use when I need it.
