Hey everyone! I have an AMD 6950xt paired with a 5600x and I game on a 1440p OLED monitor. I'm trying to figure out the best upgrade path for my setup. Should I focus on upgrading my GPU or my CPU first? I'm a bit concerned about moving to an AM5 socket since that would mean not only buying a new CPU but also a new motherboard and DDR5 RAM, which can be pretty expensive. Should I hold off on upgrades and wait for RAM prices to drop? For reference, I play a mix of FPS and single-player games.

Your GPU is pretty solid right now! I'd recommend waiting for the AM4 X3D CPUs to be relaunched, like the 5800X3D, which should be out around Q2 of 2026. That could be a good upgrade for you without needing a whole new setup.
I didn't know about the 5800X3D coming back. Sounds like a plan, I might wait for that too!
