Hi everyone! I'm new to PC building and looking for some advice on upgrades for my current setup. Here are my specs: I'm using a PNY 3080 Ti GPU, an Intel Core i9 12900KF CPU, a 1TB SSD for storage, 32GB DDR4-3600 RAM, and an ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WiFi motherboard. If I need to consider anything else for the upgrades, let me know! I purchased these parts from Microcenter. Thanks in advance for your help!

If your budget allows, aim for a Ryzen 7800X3D or even the 9800X3D. You'll also need a compatible motherboard for DDR5 memory, and getting RAM with a minimum of 6000MHz will definitely boost your performance. Upgrading to DDR5 can make a noticeable difference, especially with those X3D CPUs being highly regarded for gaming.

That sounds awesome! One concern I have is whether the 9800X3D would bottleneck my GPU. Also, could you recommend any motherboards and DDR5 RAM? I apologize if these are basic questions—I'm still learning about all this!

If you're looking for a solid upgrade, consider switching to a Ryzen 5 7600X paired with DDR5 6000MHz RAM while keeping your current GPU and PSU.
