What Should I Upgrade on My PC for Better Performance?

I'm considering upgrading my PC, but I'm not really sure where to begin. Here are my current specs: I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU, an AMD Radeon RX7900 GRE GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a B450-A PRO MAX motherboard. I'm looking for recommendations on what to change or upgrade to improve performance, especially for single-player and some multiplayer games at 1080p, aiming for consistent 120 to 144 fps without a strict budget.

Since your CPU and GPU are fairly powerful, maybe consider optimizing your software settings first before diving into upgrades. Check if your drivers are up to date and if you’re running any unnecessary background tasks that might be hogging resources. But if you really want to upgrade, think about a faster motherboard or increasing RAM speed.

It sounds like you’ve got a solid setup already! Think about what games you’re playing and at what settings. If you’re experiencing frame drops, you might want to look into upgrading your motherboard to support newer tech, or even an SSD if you don’t have one yet – that can really help with loading times and overall responsiveness. Also, keep an eye on cooling solutions, as that can impact performance too!
