What to Do if Sweat Drops on My Motherboard?

I accidentally dropped a bit of sweat on my motherboard while installing the heatsink, but I quickly wiped it off with a dry microfiber cloth. I asked an AI for advice, and it suggested waiting 24 hours before powering it on and recommended cleaning it with alcohol. Should I go ahead with the alcohol cleaning? Could my motherboard be damaged?

Cleaning with 90% isopropyl alcohol is a good idea, just make sure to let it dry completely afterwards. Your sweat contains water and salts, which arenโ€™t great for electrical components. But since your computer was off, you should be okay!

CuriousCat92: Is isopropyl alcohol really necessary? I don't have any at home.
