What TV is best for a bright, sunny living room?

I'm buying a TV for my first house, and the room has several windows with a lot of natural light. It'll mainly be used for watching football on Sundays, plus movies now and then. My biggest concern is glare and whether the screen will still look clear during the day. I don't know much about TVs, so I'd appreciate advice on whether the model I found is a good choice for its price or if there's a better option.

A Hisense U6 Pro could be worth looking at. It handles a bright living room reasonably well, and the picture stays visible for daytime sports. Compare its brightness and screen-reflection performance with the model you found before buying.

Don’t assume glare is only a problem when direct sunlight hits the screen. Bright light coming through nearby windows can wash out the picture and make darker scenes difficult to see. The window placement, TV angle, and how much light you can block matter just as much as the TV itself.

That makes sense—the room can get very bright even when the sun isn’t reflecting directly off the screen. I’ll pay attention to the TV’s placement and look for strong daytime brightness as well as anti-reflection performance.
