I'm looking for some advice on the types of wires I need to buy for modding my M5ClickC Plus 2. Specifically, I'm adding infrared receivers and components like the c1011. I've come across terms like Male to Male, Female to Female, and Male to Female wires, but I'm not sure which type I really need. Trying to keep costs down, so if I can avoid buying all three types, that would be great! Additionally, do I need to get PCBs, or can I just use a breadboard for my projects? It really depends on how you plan to connect everything. For a simple setup, you might just need Male to Female wires to connect your components to the M5ClickC. If you're also going to connect multiple modules, having some Female to Female might be handy, especially if you're using a breadboard to prototype. Male to Male wires are less common for this type of mod, but could still be useful in specific cases.
