I'm trying to figure out what to upgrade in my system for the best performance without breaking the bank. Right now, I'm running an Intel Core i5-12600K, a GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS Elite AX DDR4 motherboard, a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB, and 32GB of T-Force DDR4 3200MHz RAM (which I know isn't the best). My storage includes a Crucial P3 Plus 500GB NVMe SSD for my boot drive and a SanDisk SATA 500GB SSD. Should I be considering moving to DDR5 RAM or is there something else that's bottlenecking my performance?

It sounds like you're still facing a GPU bottleneck, which is pretty common, but I wouldn't stress over it too much right now.
Your expectations for the 5060 Ti might be a bit high, especially for Cyberpunk with path tracing. Even the top-tier GPUs are struggling with max settings at 4K. You might consider upgrading to something like the 5070 Ti for better performance, especially for 2K gaming.
It really depends on the games you’re playing and your display resolution. But typically, you're looking at GPU upgrades if you're aiming for high performance, especially with demanding titles.
I just upgraded from a GTX 1080 to the 5060 Ti. I was hoping to max out Cyberpunk with it, but it isn't performing as expected.
What games are you planning on playing? If it's mainly AAA titles like Cyberpunk, then you might need to rethink your setup.
Mostly survival games, hero shooters, and MMOs. But I want to max out Cyberpunk 2077 and some other demanding games!
I'd say your RAM could use an upgrade, especially since you're already OC'ing it. Those timings you're mentioning look a bit off. DDR5 is definitely faster but consider if your games even need that upgrade right now.
Yeah, my timings are CL18-22-22-42, which seems bad. Is it worth switching to DDR5? I'd need a new motherboard too!
I disagree with that; I think other parts matter more!
But would the 5070 Ti really make a huge difference?
