I'm not too familiar with PCs, but I'm trying to learn more. I have a Lenovo Legion prebuilt tower with an Intel i5-11400, 16GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 OEM, and a 500GB SSD. I get decent FPS in Fortnite (around 200-240) and okay performance in games like The Finals (100-120 FPS). However, it's really slow when I try to multitask while gaming, especially with Discord, Spotify, or YouTube running. What do you suggest I upgrade for better multitasking without spending too much?

If you can find an 11th gen i7 or possibly an i9 at a good price, that could really boost your performance. However, if not, consider saving up for a whole new setup in the future.
Thanks for the tip! Quick question: is there any significance to the numbers after the model, like in i5-11400 versus i7-14700K? Or does it just mean a higher 'i' number is better? Sorry if that’s a silly question!
