What Upgrades Should I Consider for My Outdated Gaming PC?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC, which I built back in early 2020. My goal was mainly to play games while keeping things affordable. Here are my current specs:

- CPU: Ryzen 3 3200G
- GPU: Radeon RX 580
- Motherboard: Gigabyte A320M
- RAM: 2x 8GB (16GB total)

I'm particularly concerned about upgrading the CPU and GPU, along with the motherboard if necessary, but I want to keep costs reasonable. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

A used Ryzen 5600X and an RTX 3080 would be a great upgrade path. Any of the used 3000 series cards offer good value right now, so keep an eye out for those!

What’s your budget? If you're in the US, I’d suggest going for a Ryzen 5600XT paired with a used RTX 3070, and that should run you about $400. It's a solid combo for gaming!

Consider the RX 6600XT or the 5700XT. Your current CPU isn’t a major issue, but if you find a good deal on a six-core Ryzen from the 3000 or 5000 series, that could extend your PC's lifespan a couple more years.

If you're gaming at 1080p, I would recommend looking at the RTX 5050 for around $250-$280 or the Intel ARC B580 for about $300. If you're open to used cards, the RX 6600 or RX 7600 would also be worth checking out. Your CPU should handle these at 1080p, so just focus on getting a new GPU and possibly a new motherboard and power supply.
