I'm trying to remember the name of an older, once-popular website where people submitted medium-length stories about disastrous software projects, accidental commits, bizarre bugs, and painful fixes. The stories were organized into a few categories and were often hilarious. It had a similar feel to Coding Horror, though that's definitely not the site I'm thinking of. Does anyone remember it?

If you enjoy that kind of story, BOFH is another fun, related series about an especially unhelpful system administrator. It’s more fictional and comedic, but has a similar old-school tech-horror vibe.

That looks entertaining too—I’ll have to check it out later.

You’re probably thinking of The Daily WTF. It’s a collection of real-world programming and software-development horror stories, usually involving spectacular mistakes, confusing code, and painful technical decisions.

Yes, that’s absolutely it! I’m delighted it’s still active—the internet hasn’t completely forgotten its classics.
