I'm looking to power my i7 12700KF alongside an RTX 5070, and I've been told that my Corsair 750W 80 Plus Gold power supply should be sufficient for this setup. Is that true?

It's best to use an ATX 3.0 or 3.1 power supply for new builds. If your Corsair unit is one of those, you should be perfectly safe with the wattage you're using.
You should be good, as long as your PSU has the right connectors to support the RTX 5070. Just check the connections to verify everything fits.
Make sure to check your power supply's label for its specifications. If it’s ATX 3 compliant, 600W+ is usually fine. If it’s older tech (like ATX 2), aim for at least 50-55 Amps on the 12V rail to avoid issues.
A 650W power supply should generally be enough for your setup. Since you have a Corsair 750W Gold, you definitely have some extra headroom.
