I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card, and I might also consider upgrading my CPU to improve overall performance. I use my PC mainly for light gaming and some business work. Currently, I have an AMD 5 5500 processor and a 600W power supply. I'm hoping to find options that fit within the $250 to $400 price range. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You should consider a used RX 6800 or XT if you can score one for a decent price. Just keep in mind you'll likely need a PSU upgrade for those models, depending on your current setup.

If you're primarily gaming at 1080p, the 9060 XT 8GB is a solid choice. If you plan to dabble in more graphics-intensive games, you might want to opt for the 9060 XT 16GB for better performance.

I agree, and don't forget to check out the 5060 if it's on sale. It's a great card as well!

If you're in the US, I'd suggest keeping an eye out for a 5060 or even a 6800 XT if you can find it at a good price. You want to ensure you have enough VRAM—at least 12GB nowadays. Just a heads-up though, prices are all over the place right now.

I hear you on that! I managed to find a 6750 XT for $275 by pure luck, but it's tough out there.

Your CPU is fine for now, but I'd recommend looking into the 9060 XT 8GB or the 5060 as good upgrades, especially coming from the 6500 XT.

I'd focus on getting a 5700x CPU, which is around $140, and then spend the rest on a 3070 8GB or 6800 XT for a balanced upgrade. The 3070 is particularly good for business tasks too, plus it runs software efficiently!
