What’s an easy way to present animations and written pages in sequence?

I'm a writer and animator/comic artist working on a project that combines videos or animations with written pages. I'd like each section to open like a web page, play the animation or show the content, and then let the viewer click a button to continue to the next section. I'm looking for something that feels nicer to read than a typical slideshow and doesn't require much scripting or advanced technical work. Any tool or website suggestions are welcome.

You could also build it with a simple website or page-builder tool. Make one page per section and add links between them. That would give you a more natural reading experience than presentation software, while still avoiding complicated scripting.

A presentation tool could handle the sequence, with each slide containing an animation or a page of text. It may not feel exactly like a website, but it’s one of the simplest ways to control the order and add Next buttons.

Microsoft Sway might be worth trying. It has a more web-based, scrollable design than a traditional slideshow and supports text, images, video, and embedded content without needing much code.

A video playlist would work for content that is entirely video, but it won’t be as flexible if each step needs to combine animation with written material. A document or presentation platform will probably suit this project better.
