What’s an easy way to present videos and documents as a sequential web experience?

I'm a writer and animator/comic artist working on a project that combines animations with written pages. I'd like visitors to view one page, play an animation, and then click a button to continue to the next page or document. A web-page format would be preferable to a traditional slideshow because it should feel more natural for reading. I'm not very technical, so I'm looking for something that requires little or no complicated scripting, though I'm open to different approaches.

A hosted website builder with separate pages could work well too. Create one page for each part of the story, embed the animation or video, and add clear Next and Back links. That would give you the reading experience you’re describing without having to build the navigation from scratch.
