Hi everyone! I hope my English is okay. I'm looking to upgrade my computer's CPU because I want to get a bit more performance without replacing everything. Currently, I have a Ryzen 3 2200G paired with an RTX 2070 Super. I'm interested in AM4 socket processors, specifically the R7 5800X3D or the R7 5700X3D, but I can't seem to find them on Amazon anymore—only on AliExpress, which I don't trust due to high prices. Would upgrading to an R7 3800XT be enough for my needs? Just to give you some context, I play mostly single-player games and cap my FPS at 60, so I'm not too worried about max performance. I'm finding that my Ryzen 3 is really holding back the potential of my 2070. Thanks for any advice!

Avoid the 3000 series if you can; they aren't much cheaper and the performance boost from the 5000 series is worth it. Look into the 5600 or 5700 series for a nice upgrade!
Honestly, with the 5700X and 5800X having been out of production for a bit, your best bet might be second-hand or sites like AliExpress. But if you consider the R7 3800XT, it's not the best value—much better to go with a 5700X if you can swing it.
If you're in Central America, you might want to look into the 5500X3D since it was released there. Also, don't shy away from buying from AliExpress, I’ve had good experiences there.
If you can, try to get a newer AM4 processor. Options like the R5-5600, R7-5700X, or R7-5800X would be great choices! They'll give you solid performance without breaking the bank.
