I recently upgraded to a 5070 Ti and I'm concerned that my current CPU, a 3900X paired with a 3070, might bottleneck my system. I'm considering getting a 5800X3D, but prices are inflated right now. Although I'd like to transition to an AM5 setup, the RAM costs are pretty off-putting.
Currently, I'm looking at the 5700X3D for around $300 but would love some opinions before making a decision. I've also seen some AM5 bundles at Micro Center, but the $350 deal has a single stick of RAM and a 9600 CPU, which only has 6 cores. I game on a 240Hz 1080p monitor and plan to upgrade to 1440p soon, so I want to ensure I choose a CPU that's a good fit. Thanks!

$300 for the 5700X3D seems a bit steep. You might want to look at the 5600 instead; it’s more budget-friendly. If you prefer the 5700X3D, consider grabbing it with a RAM bundle. That way, you’ll get more bang for your buck.
Yeah, the 5700X3D is a solid choice if you can find a decent price! It would pair nicely with your 5070 Ti. In my opinion, it’s one of the best options for AM4 right now. The 5600X and 5800X are also good alternatives, but the 5700X3D really shines if you can swing it.
