What’s the Best Budget-Friendly Domain Registration Service?

I'm currently studying IT and I'm interested in buying a domain and hosting my own website as a side project. I've heard about GoDaddy, but I also found Namecheap offering the same domains at a much lower price. Is Namecheap a trustworthy option, or are there better alternatives out there?

If you're looking for reliability, I’ve been using Cloudflare lately. They don’t have any markup on their registration prices, and you won’t face annoying upselling tactics like with some others.

I’d recommend checking out Namesilo, Cloudflare, or Porkbun. They not only offer competitive prices but also come with some really great features for managing your domain.

Porkbun is a solid choice! They excel with cheap renewal prices, although their UI could use some work. Just steer clear of GoDaddy at all costs; their renewal rates can really get you.

I’ve had a good experience with Namecheap as well, but keep an eye on their practices since they’ve had issues with domain stealing. Just do your research before registering.

Don’t go near GoDaddy! They lure you in with discounts but hit you hard with renewal fees later. For something straightforward, I’d stick to Cloudflare or Porkbun.
