What’s the Best Cooling Solution for an i7-14700KF in a Mid Tower Case?

I'm trying to decide on the best cooling option for my i7-14700KF, which I plan to build in a mid tower case, either the Lian Li 217 or the 011D. Some folks say that air cooling should be sufficient, even beyond just Noctua's top models. However, I've heard others insist that a liquid AIO cooler is necessary. I've also read that the i7-14700K runs quite hot—does that mean the KF version will too? What cooling system would you recommend?

If you're open to it, I suggest a 360mm AIO along with a PTM7950 thermal interface material. This combo works wonders for keeping temps down. If you feel comfortable, delidding the CPU can also help with the thermal performance, but it's not for everyone!

For an i7-14700K or KF, I’d seriously recommend going for a 360mm AIO cooler. These CPUs can push up to 250w under heavy load, making them pretty demanding when it comes to cooling. They are known to run hot, so having a solid cooling solution is key. Just keep in mind that AIOs can sometimes have reliability issues, so it's worth considering that as well.
