Hey everyone! I'm planning to build my first PC and I'm wondering about the right GPU to pair with my Ryzen 7 5700X. I have my eyes on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, but I'm not sure if it's the best option. My overall budget for the entire PC is 1200€, and I'm looking for suggestions on whether this GPU is sufficient or if I should consider something better. Thanks for any advice! 🙂

Honestly, the RTX 5060 isn't that impressive. With your budget, I'd recommend looking for an AMD RX 9060 XT, especially the 16GB version. It offers way better performance for a slightly higher price. You should definitely be able to fit it in your budget if you manage your other components well.
You'll want a GPU that has more than 8GB of VRAM, which is why the RX 9060 XT 16GB is a much better choice than the RTX 5060. Just make sure to consider the rest of your components, too, because they will affect how much you can spend on the GPU.
If you haven't bought any parts yet, you should! The 5060 is okay but not great. The 9060 XT would be a solid upgrade for better performance without breaking the bank.
First off, pick your other parts, then see how much you have left for the GPU. Most people here will tell you the 9060 XT offers way better raw performance compared to the 5060 without a huge price hike. Plus, more VRAM is always a plus!
