I'm seeking a user-friendly Linux distribution for my grandparents since Windows 10 support is coming to an end. I'm considering Fedora Kinoite because it resembles Windows with the Plasma interface and its atomic design may prevent accidental issues. Are there any other recommendations for a distro that wouldn't be too challenging for them?

If you're going to maintain it for them, I'd suggest Debian Stable. Just enable unattended upgrades, and you won't need to worry about it until at least 2027 when Debian 14 comes out.

I'm not too familiar with traditional distros since I mostly look at gaming versions. What are the advantages of Debian compared to Ubuntu or Fedora?
