What's the Best Monitor Setup for Programmers?

I've been staring at code for over 10 hours a day, and it's really starting to mess with my eyes. On top of that, my neck hurts a lot from constantly moving between dual 24-inch monitors. I'm considering an upgrade and I've heard that a 32-inch 4K monitor is a great option, but some people swear by ultrawide displays for better productivity. I'm curious about what models everyone is using and if I could get some advice on what's best for programmers, especially since my budget is around $500-700. Any hands-on recommendations would be much appreciated!

It's really a matter of personal preference. Everyone's needs differ. You should try out different setups to find what feels right for you. An ultrawide might not work the same for you as it does for someone else—just think about how often you have to turn your head with traditional monitors.
