What’s the Best RAM Choice for an AM5 Motherboard with Ryzen 7 7800X3D?

I'm currently building a new PC and I'm weighing my options between two RAM kits. One is the G.Skill Trident Z5 (model: F5-7200J3445G16GX2-TZ5RK, 2x16GB), which is on the motherboard's QVL, but I'm unsure if its EXPO will function properly with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. The other is the Patriot Viper Venom (16GB 6000MHz CL30, model: PVV516G60C30, 2x16GB), which has EXPO support but isn't listed on the QVL. From what I gather, 6000MHz CL30 is typically considered a good fit for AM5, but I'm questioning whether being on the QVL makes the G.Skill option more reliable. Which RAM should I choose for better stability and compatibility?

Both kits should work, but G.Skill will need some manual adjustments to get the best out of it. Running the G.Skill at 7200MHz can lead to latency issues, while the Viper at 6000MHz will likely perform better in gaming. If the price isn't vastly different, consider how much tuning you're willing to do.

I love tuning but as a casual gamer, I don't think it's worth the trouble. I just want stable performance without getting stuck at 4800 MHz.

I think the Patriot Viper Venom 6000MHz CL30 is your better bet! The G.Skill might be a bit trickier to get stable without manual tuning, and honestly, you might save some hassle going with the Viper.
