I'm looking to replace my aging GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER because it's struggling with newer games. My budget is around €250, so I'm mainly considering the used market. My system has an 11th-generation Intel Core i7-11700K, 16GB of RAM, and enough physical space for a full-size graphics card. Which GPUs would be a good match for this CPU, and what should I check before buying?

Before choosing a card, check your power supply carefully. The wattage alone isn’t enough—brand, model, available PCIe power connectors, and the PSU’s condition matter too. A 3070-class card generally needs a much stronger and better-quality PSU than a GTX 1650 SUPER. Case size is also worth confirming, especially for larger used cards.
A used RTX 3070 or 3070 Ti could be a strong upgrade in that price range if you find one in good condition. An RX 7600 is another option, while a new RTX 5050 may also fit the budget, although its value and performance can vary. The 3070 Ti is faster than the regular 3070, but it also uses more power and usually costs more, so the standard 3070 may be the better deal.
I hadn’t realized the power supply could limit my options. I think mine might be 550W, but I’ll check the exact model and connectors before buying anything. Case size shouldn’t be a problem.
