I'm putting together my first PC build and have most of the components chosen, but I'm unsure which power supply offers the best value. I'm currently considering the be quiet! Pure Power 13 M 1000W 80+ Gold fully modular ATX PSU. It isn't listed in the PSU tier guide I checked, so I'd like to know whether it's still a reliable choice or if there are similarly priced 1000W models that would be better. I'm choosing 1000W mainly for future upgrade flexibility, even though the system won't need that much power right now. Suggestions for the PSU or other worthwhile component changes are welcome.

The Pure Power 13 M comes from a reputable manufacturer, so its absence from that particular tier list isn’t automatically a reason to avoid it. It has a B+ rating in the available PSU rankings and should be a reasonable option if the price is competitive.
There may be more worthwhile changes elsewhere in the build than spending extra on a 1000W PSU. Consider an AM5 motherboard with built-in Wi-Fi, faster DDR5-6000 CL30 memory, and a 1TB TLC SSD rather than a QLC model. Also compare the graphics-card pricing carefully: an RTX 5070 can cost close to an RX 9070 XT, although Nvidia may still be the better choice for Blender because of its software and CUDA support.
If you definitely want 1000W, the Montech Century II 1050W is worth checking out. It’s currently cheaper than the be quiet! model while offering comparable or better value, so it makes more sense if the prices are close.
You probably don’t need 1000W for this system. A good 850W unit still leaves plenty of headroom, including for a substantial future graphics-card upgrade. Seasonic and Corsair both have solid options, such as the Seasonic Focus GX V4 ATX 3 850W.
Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll probably use most of those component changes, but I’m sticking with Nvidia for the graphics card since Blender generally has better support and performance on Nvidia GPUs.
