I'm reviewing our disaster recovery setup and want a reliable way to back up Intune configuration profiles, settings catalog policies, and other tenant configuration. We currently use the IntuneBackupAndRestore PowerShell module, but it now stops after exporting the first 25 settings in some settings catalog policies and doesn't appear to be actively maintained. Veeam's Microsoft 365 backup also doesn't cover everything we need. Are there any maintained PowerShell modules or alternative products worth considering?

CoreView is worth evaluating if you’re looking for a supported commercial product rather than maintaining scripts yourself. It should cover this type of Intune configuration backup and recovery workflow.
A free or low-cost option worth checking out is Micke-k’s Intune backup project. It’s transparent, exports the configuration to JSON, and appears to be actively maintained. The JSON output also makes it easy to review changes over time with Git.
If you have the budget, CoreView is designed for this kind of Microsoft 365 and Intune configuration management and recovery. For a more lightweight approach, the JSON export solution is appealing because you can store it in Git and get change history without paying for a separate licensed feature.
The built-in change history through Git is a great benefit. Thanks for pointing that out.
I’m looking into the same problem as part of a broader disaster recovery plan. Veeam works well for Microsoft 365 content, but recovering the actual Azure and Intune configuration requires a separate strategy, so I’m comparing export-based tools with dedicated management platforms.

That looks like exactly what I needed. I can’t believe I hadn’t found it earlier—thanks!
