Hi everyone! I'm struggling with low disk space due to cached files from rendering a VFX shot. It's really causing some major issues for me. Can anyone share the best ways to delete these cached files? I'd love to reclaim as much space as possible. Thanks!

Just select the files you want to delete, hit the Delete key, and make sure to empty your trash afterwards to really free up space.
You might want to try using tools like du, ncdu, or btdu if you're on btrfs. Most Linux distributions come with some kind of disk analyzer that can help too. Also, don't forget to check the .cache folder in your home directory. It’s hidden, so use Control + H to reveal it in your file manager.
Could you let us know which Linux distribution you're using? That would help us provide more tailored advice!
Consider upgrading to a larger drive, especially if you're using an SSD. Low disk space can actually cause premature wear on SSDs, and they can fail without much warning. Make sure to keep regular backups!
Keep in mind that the method can depend on the specific application you're using. Some apps might have their own settings for clearing caches.
