I'm trying to figure out how to connect a microphone to my MacBook Air A1466. I don't have a mic yet, but I'd love to get some advice on how to plug one in and if there are specific types that work better with this model. Any recommendations?

To give a better answer, could you let us know what type of mic you’re thinking about or what type you may want? Some USB mics might be more compatible if you're looking for ease, especially for recording or streaming.
If your mic has a standard headphone jack, you can plug it directly into the headphone port. Just keep in mind that some mics might not work properly if they're just input-only types. If you're considering a headset with both audio and mic capabilities, it should work just fine!
