I'm trying to set up port forwarding on my network, but I've spent a couple of hours trying to figure out what my WAN port number is, and I'm coming up empty. Can anyone help me find this information?

It sounds like you might need to clarify what you mean by 'WAN port number.' Are you looking for the inbound port number, which you can find on public lists for both UDP and TCP? Or is it the outbound port number, which is often chosen dynamically? If you can provide a bit more context on what you're trying to accomplish with port forwarding, that would help us assist you better!

In my experience, checking your router's settings can show you the WAN port configuration. You should typically be able to access this through the admin panel of your device.

For most routers, you can find the WAN port settings by logging into the router's web interface. Look for sections named WAN, Internet, or Network Settings. That’s usually where you’ll see the details needed for port forwarding. Let me know if you need help with router-specific steps!
