What’s the Best Way to Get a Static IP Without Paying My ISP?

I've turned my computer into a cloud gaming machine, and it's been great! My previous ISP used to provide me with a static IP, but unfortunately, they're no longer around. Currently, since I have a dynamic IP, I can only wake my PC using its local IP address when I use Moonlight for Wake On LAN, which isn't ideal. I'm looking for alternatives to secure a static IP without paying my ISP the additional fee. If that's my only option, I'm okay with paying, but I'm curious if there are any other methods out there. Just to clarify, everything I do is legal and done from my gaming rig. Thanks for any advice!

You might want to check out Ngrok. It doesn't give you a static IP, but it's really useful for handling NAT traversal. It could help you reach your rig without the hassle of those dynamic IP issues.

Have you thought about using NoIP? They offer a free tier that can help keep track of your dynamic IP. It's been working well for my setup!

I've used NoIP for my folks' router with NextDNS and it works great for free. Definitely worth a shot!
