Hi everyone! I'm looking for advice on what type of jammer would effectively disrupt the signal from a Bluetooth stereo speaker. Specifically, how close would I need to be to the speaker for it to work? Thanks a lot for your input!

It sounds like you might be after a Bluetooth jammer. I used to live in a busy area where loud party speakers were a big issue, and those typically connect via Bluetooth. I did my share of searching for a device to help me get some sleep! Just be cautious with what you're considering, though.

Just a heads up, using jammers is illegal in many places, including the U.S. They can really mess up a lot of devices and creating interference can come with serious consequences. If you're trying to deal with noise, maybe there are other approaches to consider instead.

It’s tricky because speakers usually receive signals instead of transmitting them. If you really want to cut off their sound, your best bet would be to physically get close and disconnect the speaker wires—though I wouldn't recommend it, as it's a bit extreme!

I appreciate the suggestion! Sounds like a last resort.
