What’s the best way to permanently damage a phone’s CPU?

I have a bricked phone (a Redmi Note 10) and I'm curious about ways to permanently destroy its CPU to make it impossible to recover any data. I know that the CPU holds the encryption key for the data on the ROM, so I'm looking for techniques that specifically target the CPU. I understand there are easier ways to erase data, but I'm interested in focusing on this method for educational purposes only.

For a solid approach, physically destroy the CPU completely! Grab a hammer, saw, or drill, and just make sure it's in pieces. A butane torch would also do wonders here for finalizing the destruction.

Desoldering the CPU is one way to go about it. Just take it off the motherboard completely. If you really want to make sure it’s done, you might even consider applying heat to it after desoldering to fry it.

You could take a torch to the CPU after desoldering it! Heating it up could damage it beyond repair, ensuring that no data can be retrieved.

If you're looking to totally annihilate it, you could try running a drill through the CPU in a few different places, then hit it with a microwave (preferably not your own!). That should do the trick!

Just a few seconds in the microwave should be enough to ruin it. But definitely make sure it's not your microwave!
