I'm trying to find the most efficient way to access my Mac from my Windows PC at home. Both devices are right next to each other, so moving peripherals is a hassle, and I don't want to invest in expensive KVM switches. Since they're both on the same network, I'm looking for something that works smoothly, especially since I'm a programmer and need a clear image for when I'm on Zoom calls, Slack huddles, etc. Any suggestions on the best tools or methods for this?

For years, I've used Google Chrome Remote Desktop between my Mac and PC. It's simple and effective. I've never had issues with image clarity, and it runs smoothly for my programming and meetings.
I've really been enjoying NoMachine lately. It works great for remote access on both LAN and internet, so it's super flexible depending on where you are.

I thought Chrome stopped supporting that? Are you sure it still works?
