What’s the best way to transport my gaming setup when moving abroad?

I'm relocating to France for my studies and need tips on how to take my gaming setup with me. It includes a gaming PC, two monitors, a keyboard, a mouse, a headset, and a boom mic. I have a gaming chair and a custom desk, but I'm planning to sell those since transporting them seems impractical. I'm worried about my gear getting damaged if I try to take it as baggage on a flight. Are there any services that help with moving personal belongings internationally? I'm open to spending a bit for secure transport. If it comes down to it, I might just sell everything and rebuild once I'm in France, but considering I spent less than a year with my setup, selling it feels frustrating.

Shipping can get pricey, and there's a risk of damage, but parts might be cheaper to buy in France. You should check the replacement costs for parts there compared to what you could sell your current setup for.

Are you suggesting that it might be cheaper to ship individual parts rather than the whole setup?
