What’s the Best Way to Upgrade My PC on a Budget?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC and I'd like some advice on the best budget options available. Here are my specs: I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, 16GB of Dual-Channel DDR4 RAM, a Gigabyte AB350-Gaming 3 motherboard, and a Radeon RX 6600 graphics card. I'd like to achieve 1440p gaming on high settings, and while I don't have a strict budget, I'm hoping to spend under $200 for my next upgrade. What would you recommend that fits within these parameters?

For your budget, I recommend upgrading to the Ryzen 5600 or 5600X. It’s a solid choice and will give your performance a nice boost. You can think about a GPU upgrade later on. Just remember to update your BIOS before installing the new CPU!

Why not consider the Ryzen 5700X? It has a few more cores and gives a bit more performance while being around the same price. Plus, it’s really efficient with power consumption!

That sounds great! But how much of an improvement should I expect? Is this upgrade going to double my performance or just a slight bump?
