Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, but I've heard production has stopped and I'm unsure about what a fair price would be these days. I suspect finding one might be a challenge, so if I can't snag it for a decent price, are there any other AM4 CPUs you recommend for 1080p gaming that would still hold up for a few years?

For anything gaming-related, the Ryzen 5000 series is still a solid choice. If you’re specifically looking for AM4, I’d suggest the R5-5700X, 5800X, or even the 5800XT, as they're mostly similar with slight differences in boost clocks. If those are too pricey, check out the R5-5600 family; they also work well for gaming and vary mostly in clock speeds.
Prices have gone through the roof! You’d be looking at around $300 to $350 for a used or open-box Ryzen 7 5700X3D these days. Just be careful about scams when buying from random sellers. If you can, consider upgrading to the 5800X3D instead as it’s the better option.
Right now, you can find them for about $275. I'm keeping mine, but if I were building from scratch, I'd probably opt for a 7600X combo instead. It has solid performance for gaming.
