Hey everyone! I bought a Samsung 990 PRO 4TB NVMe drive about a year ago, but it suddenly failed and isn't even recognized by my motherboard anymore. It's super disappointing, especially since I was just away from my computer for a bit. Now, I'm looking to replace it, but I want to make sure I choose a drive that's reliable above all else, even if it means sacrificing some speed. Any recommendations for a good 4TB NVMe drive that's known for its durability?

Since your Samsung has a 5-year warranty, definitely consider getting an RMA for it! I typically go for Samsung drives myself; I've used various models and they've been solid performers. However, if you want to explore other brands, WD is another reputable option. I've had a good experience with their SN770, although it might not match the 990’s speed.

Thanks, I bought it new from Amazon, so I'll look into the RMA. Just a bit hesitant to stick with the same brand now.
