I'm having an issue with my desktop screen that looks really strange, almost like an old TV that's gone haywire. I'm using an Intel Core i3-6100 processor and have 8GB of RAM. Can anyone help me understand what's going on?

I think the lines could also indicate a graphics card problem or something with your monitor itself. Have you tried testing it with another monitor?

Thanks for sharing the pictures! That definitely illustrates the problem. Looks like those horizontal lines could be due to a connection issue or maybe your monitor is having some problems.

It sounds like you're experiencing some display issues! Just to clarify, could you provide a visual of what you're seeing? Posting a picture might help others understand your problem better.

I totally get the frustration! If your screen is showing horizontal lines, you might want to check if your display cable is damaged. Sometimes it's the easiest fix!

GamerDude42: Have you tried a different display cable? It can make a big difference if the current one is faulty.
