I've been wondering about the current RAM shortage and how long it's expected to last. Do you think RAM prices will go down soon? Also, will Microcenter bring back their 3-in-1 motherboard, RAM, and CPU bundles?

Honestly, it doesn’t seem like RAM prices are going to drop anytime soon. Best case scenario is maybe a year from now, but even then, they probably won't return to the low prices we used to see.
It’s looking like it might take a while for RAM prices to drop. A lot of that depends on the demand driven by AI right now. Unless something changes quickly, I wouldn’t expect any relief soon.
If history is any guide, we could be waiting anywhere from 6 months to 2 years for a decent price drop on RAM. So if you’re in the market for it, it might be wise to buy sooner rather than later.
We’ve got to remember that predicting these things is tricky. If the AI hype fizzles out, we could eventually see RAM prices fall dramatically. But as it stands, prices usually fluctuate in cycles, so it’s hard to tell when things might change.
I really don’t think we’ll see any decrease in prices this year. If you need RAM, you might want to get it now before it potentially gets worse.
