I'm curious to know if anyone has any predictions on when RAM prices might decrease. I currently have 16 GB of RAM, but it seems insufficient for playing modern AAA games. Should I consider buying second-hand RAM or even upgrade to DDR4? By the way, I'm looking to play Monster Hunter Wilds.

Predicting RAM prices is almost impossible! They might drop a little if new manufacturing plants come online, but who knows if that will happen soon or even if prices will ever truly fall significantly.
The price of RAM isn't likely to go down until there's a major shift in the market or economic conditions. Just keep an eye out for temporary discounts!
Honestly, it feels like the prices go up right when you finally decide to buy. You might want to hang in there for a bit, just in case there's a sale or a price drop out of the blue.
You can still play most games smoothly with 16GB of RAM. While having 32GB is nice, it's not essential for now. I wouldn't be too quick to upgrade if you're mainly gaming.
It's tough to say exactly when prices will go down. Some RAM manufacturers have mentioned they don't expect to meet demand until around 2028, so it might be a while. Keep an eye on sales, though!
