I've searched nearly everywhere for an RTX 5090 Founders Edition, but I'm having trouble finding an unused one from a trustworthy seller. Are there any reliable places to buy one, or are the listings on sites like eBay mostly overpriced or risky?

NVIDIA has occasionally sold limited quantities at major trade shows or in-person events, but those opportunities are uncommon. If you’re not willing to pay a large premium, waiting for supply to normalize is probably the safest option.
Your best chance is the official NVIDIA Store. Stock drops have become very rare, so sign up for availability notifications and check regularly. Even then, finding one at MSRP is unlikely right now.
Outside the NVIDIA Store, you’ll mostly be looking at the used and resale market. Unused cards do appear on auction sites, but they’re usually heavily marked up. Check the seller’s history, verify the card is actually the Founders Edition, and use buyer protection before paying.
