My current setup is a Ryzen 5 5600X on an ASUS TUF B550-Plus motherboard with an RX 9070 XT. I mainly play at 1440p, and the 5600X still handles single-player games reasonably well, but it struggles in CS2—especially Deathmatch when many players are on screen.

The Ryzen 7 5800X3D costs around €350 new, while a Ryzen 5 5500X3D is available for roughly €190 through an overseas marketplace. Since memory prices make moving to AM5 unrealistic right now, which processor offers the best price-to-performance improvement for my system?
